An Evaluation of the Impact and Implementation of the Employment Equity Act (EEA)

This project on the impact and implementation of the Employment Equity Act is part of a broader range of projects that the Department of Labour commissioned the Human Sciences Research Council, the Development Policy Research Unit (DPRU) at the University of Cape Town, and SWOP to do. The research on the EEA includes sectoral studies and selected workplace-based case studies in the mining, engineering and higher education sectors. A final report has been presented to the Department of Labour in March 2008.
